On Austvågøy there is a wealth of short and long walks, and several of the top tours are also class above. The trip over Delp and Mount Matmora is among these
The trip start from Delp, northwest of Austvågøy. Go through the gate in the fence ca. 100 meters before the first house on Delp. Follow the path up to Delp, 374 m.
(It's easiest to go on the shelf all the time, although in some places is something fluffy.)
From Mount Matmora down in Rangel valley through a huge scree. Take aim at the little water in Steindalen. From here a path leads through the beautiful Rangel valley. Take a detour over to Rank Eldalen lake where a lady named Carrie supposed to have drowned himself. Notice to all tunnels in the mountain side to the right.
At the bottom of Rangel valley should take a look at the view from the mining tip before you turn right and follow structured zigzag path / way down to the Earths.
Relatively demanding trip, something airy, 5-6 hours, partly trail.
