In Kaiser Wilhelm's footsteps
At the southern end of Hinnøya is a small state with a big name. Keiservarden Named ether that Emperor Wilhelm of Germany took the trip to the summit twice; in 1889 and 1906
From the old ferry landing, go south through the settlement; path to the hillock takes off to the left just after the store, see signs. The path is partially steep but well structured and locally secured with rope. At the top (349 meters) will be found two cairns with plaques commemorating the "events". On the plateau behind Digermulkollen there are great opportunities to extend your trip, for example. Snøtinden (637 m)
