From Slydal follow the marked trail up on the small heath between Slydal and Beach Light. From there, follow the signs towards Blåtind. The path is gradually lost, and the last part to the top is no path or labeling. The last 50-100 testers are quite steep and slightly småklatring be expected (climbing gear is not needed). From the top you have a fantastic view of large parts of the Lofoten Islands, and on clear days you can see also the Vestfjord towards the mountains of Ofoten and Salten. The trip varies between plain terrain and relatively steep portions. The last bit up to the top, one can follow the ridge which is very steep on the east side, but it is also possible to go a little west of the back if you are struggling with a fear of heights. The top is also very steep on the east side. In bærsesongen one can find both blueberries and cloudberries along the route.
